Ben Hazlewood is a singer from 
New Zealand, who now lives and works in 
Australia. He participated five times in the contest, reaching a top 10 every time and always representing his country of origin.
The songs he performed in the competition are:
• "Paint Me Black", song that, in the 14th edtion, reached a 5th place in the final, also thanks to the singer Mali-Koa;
• "Wanted" in the 28th edition, with which he achieved the first and only victory for New Zealand;
• "Drive On" in the 35th edition, that qualified and placed 3rd in the final;
• "Loveless", sang in the 37th edition, it arrived 4th in the final:
• "Louder Than Thunder", placed 9th in the final. He presented it in the 45th edition of the contest.
