Thomas Neuwirth is an 
Austrian singer who is known for his stage persona Conchita WURST. He participated five times in the contest, all of them for her country of origin. He joined the competition in the 9th edition with "That's What I Am", but, sadly, he has been disqualified and placed 22nd in the semi-final. He then came back for the 18th edition and this time did better, qualifying with his song "Firestorm" and achieving a 21st place in the final. But that wasn't his best result. In fact, in the 23rd edition he sang the song "Heroes" and placed 10th in the final. In his last two participations (the 27th and the 35th edition) he failed to qualify losing in the Second Chance both times. In the first occasion the song he presented was "You Are Unstoppable", in the second "Unbreakable".
